Saurashtra University Distance Education Admission 2022-23: It was established in 1967. It is a State University Situated in Rajkot City of the Saurashtra Region of Gujarat State. It has the first ‘A’ Grade accredited conventional State University by the NAAC in Gujarat in 2014. Saurashtra University Distance Education  Admission 2022-23 open for B.Sc. and M.Sc Programs was 18 May 2022.

It was based on the university act passed by the government of Gujarat in 1965. The courses offered by the University have 13 departments for UG and 12 departments for PG courses.

Bachelors in Rural Studies (BRS) is offered at the UG level in 3 years duration. Qualifying 10+2 with a 50% score is mandatory to acquire admission. Its fee is INR 14600.

Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com) will be completed in 3 years and its admissions are merit-based such that every candidate will need to have at least a 50% score in the 12th examination. INR 15000 is a fee.

Bachelors of Arts (BA), duration is 3 years, offered to eligible candidates holding a pass certificate of intermediate obtained from a known board. It has a fee of INR 12300.

Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA), pursued after completing 12th standard examinations within the stream of Computer Science. The tuition fee is INR 13000.

Masters of Social Work (MSW) is pursued by candidates at the PG level and the selections are made for students having qualifications of BSW or any other relevant degree. Average INR 8800 is a fee.

Masters of Journalism & Mass Communication (MJMC), after completing BJMC or another UG degree one can apply for this course. There is a fee of INR 7600.

Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT), 2 years is the time span, based on merit and candidates can apply after having a BPT or similar UG qualification. This PG course fee is INR 9000.

Saurashtra University has been offering distance learning in a wide number of fields and it has started the admission session in 2022. There are many courses in which students can enrol to learn at the UG, PG and Doctorate levels in an easier learning way. SUDE offering distance degree courses are all recognized by DEB and UGC. These admissions will be merit-based as is usual in the case of distance admissions. Students will have to pursue a good academic performance for becoming eligible. A system for submission of applications is set in the online mode and students can only submit their forms before the deadline.

• Some UG courses taught here are BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, and BRS. It also renders education at the PG level for the distance courses MA, MSc, MBA, M.Com, MCA, and M.P.Ed.
• Completely a 10+2 level of learning must have been passed by each candidate willing for the admissions of UG courses and must secure a score in the average range of 50%.
• In the course of PG entries, merit is one of the basic parameters determining a student’s eligibility so that every aspirant is needed to complete the degree of bachelors with a percentage not falling below 50.
• A DD of fee submission in favor of the University must be submitted along with the application forms.

B.Sc (Geo)

• Aspirants with the relevant stream can apply for the course after completing their intermediate.
• They must attain scores of valid levels as per the university rules.

B.Sc (Information Technology)

• The aspirants that have taken up tech or IT in their 12 with the completion in 45% scores.
• The students that have qualified for the entrance exam will be able to apply to the course.

B.Sc Computer Science

• The aspirants are to have  completed 12 with valid scores from the tech or computer science Field.

• This University provides MA in Gujarati, Hindi, History, English, Economics, Philosophy, Physical Education, Psychology, Sanskrit, and Sociology these specializations.

M.Sc

• Aspirants should have done graduation in science and passed with min. 55% marks
• This Course has a variety of specializations like Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, Information Technology, Electronics & Home science.

MBA

• This is a professional course, this course requires the aspirant to be graduated in any subject, and having experience is a plus point.
