Mangalore University Distance Education ? : Mangalore University will soon open the regular education portal for the new session. Interested candidates can apply with the required documents and fees before the last admission date. The application will be available on the official website of the university. Mangalore University has been graded ‘A’ by NAAC for UG and PG courses. It allows students to earn degrees in Sciences, History, and more. The admission is for the following study centres:

• PG admissions at Mangalagangotri.
• PG degree programs at PG Centre Chikka Aluvara, Kodagu.
• PG degree programs at University College, Mangalore.
• PG degree Programmes at Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa College Madikeri.

The students can choose any of the following to be their study centres. 

• Available Courses: Msc Industrial chemistry, MSc Material Science, MSc cyber security, MA Economics, History, Political science, Sociology, English, Kannada, Hindi, MCom, MBA(Tourism), MSc Physics, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Applied Chemistry, Zoology, Statistics, Medical Physics, MCom to mention a few.

Registration fees: The university announced that students must pay an application fee to consider their applications. The application fee is INR 1,000, and there is no relaxation.

Mangalore University offers UG and PG courses. For season 2023, MU will offer regular learning admissions. The MU admits students to the programs it offers once a year, as per its published timetable. Students must complete the essential details at the MU’s official website https://mangaloreuniversity.ac.in/distance-education-1 to register for online enrolment.

• At the UG level, Mangalore University provides BA, BBA, and B.Com. The eligibility set by MU for these courses is 10+2 education with an aggregate of min 50% marks.
• MA Hindi, MA English, MA Sociology, MA History, MA Economics, MA Kannada, and MBA Tourism are some well-known PG courses of Mangalore University that are offered in Regular mode. The minimum eligibility to get admission in MU’s PG program is to have a UG degree with min 50% marks score.
• Mangalore University’s Centre of Education solely gives placement support to students, in which they would teach them various skills that will aid them in cracking interviews.
• MU’s application fee is INR 1,000/- for PG.

• First, Visit the official Mangalore University website, by clicking here- https://mangaloreuniversity.ac.in/apply
• Click on the “application form link, download the application form, and then take printouts.
• Candidates can also take an application form from the admission campus of the university by paying some amount.
• Before applying for admission, students are suggested that they read all the instructions carefully.
• Fill up all the required details such as personal details, academic details, qualification details, address details, etc.
• After filling in all the details, re-check it, then make the payment through DD (Demand draft) in favor of the university.
• Send the filled application form along with DD and all required documents through courier, speed post, and physically on the admission campus of the university.

Reservation Seats

• For the general category candidates: 50%.
• For the SC category candidates: 15%.
• For the ST category candidates: 3%.
• For the other category candidates: 32%.
